The latest and greatest is that she passed all her tests with flying colors...the spot on her lung was just a shadow and everything else seems to be in working order. The surgery to remove her kidney is scheduled for October 9th. Although my Mother doesn't think I need to be there; I clearly am going to fly down and be there.
They say Mom could be in the hospital one - three days depending on how well she does. For all of you who have met my Mother...you know she will be voting for going home Friday afternoon. I am going to stay and fly back late on Monday.
I have my handy dandy new iPod touch to keep me entertained...I had no idea how cool it would be to watch TV on the train. My current downloads include the 1st season of ER and well I cannot help myself, the new 90210. This should keep me entertained while my Father and Brother pace the floor at the hospital.
Thanks to each and everyone of you for the thoughts and the prayers...please keep them going next week. BTW I am also sad that I will be missing my first movie night on Wednesday.
