Back in DC...

We are officially back in DC and taking a much needed break from the craziness of the last 10 days. My liver thanked me for a booze free day yesterday...we will see if I jump back on the horse today.

I would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to my cruising buddies - it was a fantastic time and I love each of you very much for spending this time with me. You have made my 40th birthday a very special time.

To The Rican & The JayHawk - thank you so much for taking care of our little princess for a much extended time - we love you! I hope you had a wonderful anniversary and a wonderful birthday (JayHawk) while we were gone.

I am off to continue my watching of the olympics - have a wonderful day!

beer was cold but had no ice and the cooler was keeping it at a moderate temperature...figured opening the cooler would get it colder...guess we forgot to shut it. The beer is cold now!

San Antonio

So, the bad part about being in San Antnio, apart from being away from Cat, is that u can still smoke in a bar. My smoking has at least doubled. It might be a good thing there's no smoking in a bar in DC.

Closets and Couches...Busy Day

The green monster couches are gone...sitting in a stairwell but nonetheless gone.

The day was complete by 11:30 with both closets being installed and couches in place. The ottoman is missing its legs but we should have those within a week. As you can see we already reloaded the front closet...now the task of the 2nd bedroom...pray we make it through that.

on the plane in charlotte almost ready to leave. we will be in cancun in 2 hours & 57 minutes.

Dining Out For Life

Seven of us got together last night at The Melting Pot to support Food and Friends Dining Out For Life night. We also started the pre-celebration of Rita's B-day. Below you will see the monsterous SOCO shot that the bartender sent over; they also sent dessert with a candle and we attempted to sing (that part might have failed).
