City Update

All the craziness on Clifton and 14th has now been cleaned up and the manhole fixed but our friends in Mt. Pleasant fared even worse this week.  As seen in the news link below hundreds of residents have been displaced with essentially nothing but the clothes on their backs.  It seems that the firefighters went back in to try to find some of the residents belongings but the building has been declared unsafe so the residents will not be allowed back in.  Many ran out without coats and shoes even.  This awful tragedy could have been much worse but fortunately no one was killed and their were only minor injuries.

Wow, hundreds of people in your neighborhood with nothing and no place to go? And didn't I read that your door can be opened with nothing more than a smart trip card? Sorry, couldn't help myself...
