The Corolla has been retired to auction since it was going to cost 4k to fix. Fortunately for us we knew someone in the car business and he was able to get us some money out of the deal ($1300) to be exact. We are now officially city dwellers - Metro, cabs, and Zip Cars are our friends now. We had our first grocery store run via Zip Car on Friday and it was fantastic. Gotta love it!
I am still somewhat sad about the loss of my little green machine but I guess I got 12 years out of it so I should suck it up. Give me a little time to grieve and I will be fine.

Sorry for your loss. On the brighter side. Granny carts rock when shopping at the Gentrified Giant!! Did you tell Zipcar that Vergie sent you? She gets free dollas if you hooked her up.
I think we should have a memorial service for the 'rolla. It is a valid reason to share a few cocktails.
